Nairobi National Park: Game Drives with City Skyline Views
Nairobi National Park is one of the world's most extraordinary wildlife anomalies — a full game reserve within sight of the city skyline, where lions, rhinos, giraffes and buffalo roam against a backdrop of Nairobi's glass towers. At just 117km², it punches far above its size.
What to See
- Black Rhino — Nairobi NP is one of Kenya's most reliable places to spot critically endangered black rhino. Over 50 individuals in the park.
- Lions — resident prides often spotted in the open grassland areas near the main roads
- Giraffe — Masai and Rothschild's giraffe, often seen near the forest zones
- Hippo Pools — a reliable stop on any game drive; 50+ hippos at Athi Dam
